24 Hours of Le Mans

Rebellion Racing sign Bleekemolen for Sebring and Le Mans

Jeroen Bleekemolen was part of REBELLION Racing’s Sebring and Le Mans efforts in 2011, partnering Neel Jani and Nicolas Prost. Together, they achieved the Team’s best result at Le Mans 24 Hours with a sixth place overall finish and first petrol powered car.

This year, Jeroen Bleekemolen will join the REBELLION Racing regular drivers Andrea Belicchi and Harold Primat for the Sebring 12 Hours race, the opening round of the new FIA World Endurance Championship, and also the 80th edition of Le Mans 24 Hours.

Bart Hayden, REBELLION Racing Team Manager: “I am pleased to have Jeroen back with us again this year in the two longest races of the season. Jeroen is a good endurance driver with consistency and speed and great team spirit.»

Jeroen Bleekemolen: « It’s great to be back with REBELLION Racing for the two classic endurance races. I am looking forward to aiming again for some great results. I already know all the people in the team from last year and I have two very strong teammates. I know the team has worked hard to improve the whole package since last year, so we should be strong.»

The sixth REBELLION Racing driver for the 2012 season will be announced shortly.
