Pictures of the Ardennes battle coming soon
This weekend our team was at the Total 24 Hours of Spa, the fourth round of the Blancpain Endurance Series. It was a weekend with typical Spa weather, lots of safety cars and another 24 hours victory for Audi.
Andrea Piccini (ITA), Rene Rast (DEU) and Frank Stippler (DEU) in the Audi Sport Performance Cars Team Phoenix #16 R8 LMS Ultra took the win in the end, just before WRT #1 Audi R8 LMS Ultra. For Audi it was already its third 24 hours win after claiming the win at the Nurburgring and Le Mans earlier this season. In the PRO-AM class the victory went to the No.52 AF Corse Ferrari of Niek Hommerson (NLD), Louis Machiels (BEL), Andrea Bertolini (ITA) and Alessandro Pier Guidi (ITA) and secured its second successive class win in the Blancpain Endurance Series.
