The Asian Le Mans Series has confirmed Daniel Poissenot as its Race Director for its 2013 inaugural season. Poissenot is since twelve years race Director of the legendary 24 Heures du Mans, mission entrusted by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest, creator and organizer of the event.
Poissenot involvement in Le Mans dates back to 1988. In first place, responsible for the smooth running and track safety, he became the race director of the last twelve editions of the 24 Heures du Mans. He has also been the ACO Deputy General Manager for 10 years in charge of the sport department. He was also Race Director of the first Asian Le Mans race in Okayama, Japan in 2009.
