The 2013 International GT Open will see the debut of a new team, Bhai Tech, which plans to enter in the GTS class two McLaren MP4 12C GT3 in full 2013 specifications.
The team, run by Roberto Costa, is planning to make its debut at the Winter Series event in Jerez.
The team is the racing and testing arm of Bhai Tech Advanced Vehicle Science, which recently opened its unique R & D facility near Padova, in Italy. Bhai Tech has created a fully integrated approach to vehicle dynamics, developing systems and models for all types of vehicles. Its race car setup development enables users to explore a vast array of solutions required for optimum performance with expediency and thoroughness, even in today’s limited and often restricted track accessibility.
The Bhai Tech Advanced Vehicle Science Center offers a state-of-theart full motion driving simulator, proven modeling and simulation software, driver development programs and a wide range of on- and off-track technology services. This constitutes a new and unique business model responding to the changing shape of motorsports and vehicle development, accessible to large and small companies alike.
Roberto Costa commented: “We look forward to joining the GT Open Series. The organisers have put together a quality calendar, with top class venues. This of course will pitch us against a premium field, which will make for exciting racing.”
Bhai Tech Racing is currently finalising its driver line-up for the series.
