The Spanish team participates this weekend in the 1.000 km of Nürburgring with two cars. The four drivers were very satisfied with the latst improvements. Angel Burgueño and Miguel Angel de Castro, ee1 LMP1 number 20 and Shinji Nakano and Adrián Vallés, number 21, completely agree in their comments: the changes implemented in suspension and aerodynamics turned the ee1 into a better car.

After announcing a deal to race with Creation AIM at the final two rounds of the American Le Mans Series earlier in the week, Liz Halliday will get a much earlier opportunity to race the team’s CA07 chassis than originally expected, having been called up to contest this weekend’s Nurburgring 1000kms.
Team Modena head into their busiest race weekend of the year with action on both the international and British stages - the Le Mans Series springs back to life with a 1000km race at the Nurburgring circuit in Germany, while the British GT Championship has its first two-hour race of the season at Silverstone.
After a three month break, the 2008 Le Mans Series restarts with the 1000 km of Nurburgring from 14th to 17th of August. Speedy Racing - Team Sebah are approaching the fourth round of the 2008 Le Mans Series with high expectations. The pace of the #33 Lola B08/80 – Judd in the earlier races of the season was very encouraging, but the team were thwarted on their way to the podium in the last two rounds by new car “teething” problems. The team and their technical partners have worked hard during the summer to enhance the endurance of various components, whilst at the same time, work has been carried out to provide an uplift in the performance of the car.
The long break since the last race, May’s Spa Francorchamps, has come to an end as the Le Mans Series again picks up speed. The fourth event takes place at Germany’s Nürburgring, which has a long tradition of 1,000-kilometer races. Not to be left out among the 49 starting racers is Charouz Racing System with its tried-and-tested team of Jan Charouz and Stefan Mücke. Fans can look forward to one change in the team – the two will head out in a completely new LMP1 prototype powered by Aston Martin.

Audi has clinched the second consecutive 1-2 victory in the American Le Mans Series. At Road America (U.S. state of Wisconsin), the German duo Lucas Luhr and Marco Werner celebrated their sixth victory of the season thus taking a further step towards the title.
